Your Initial Consultation

Every new client at Raw has a ninety-minute initial assessment. The purpose of this is to gather information about your baseline fitness levels, goals, exercise, health history, current nutrition and lifestyle behaviours.

From this initial assessment, we plan your personalised training program, set long-term and short-term goals, and then agree on the best process for you.

During our initial assessment we measure:

  • Weight, Body fat percentage
  • Blood pressure
  • Circumference measurements
  • Mobility and Flexibility
  • Structural balance
  • Movement efficiency
  • Aerobic capacity
  • Anaerobic power
  • Core strength and Endurance
  • Any requirement for Injury Rehabilitation
  • Discuss and give you nutritional advice.

Body Fat Assessment

If you have had trouble with weight loss in the past, it could be because of an imbalance in your body’s biochemistry, specifically a hormone imbalance. The over or underproduction of certain hormones will affect how and where you store body fat.

During your initial assessment, we use Caliper measurements from 12 sites on the body to show your overall body fat and lean mass percentage. Analysis and identifying areas with high-fat readings give us a scientific basis of what could be causing you problems. With a complete nutritional plan, supplements, and an individualised training program that targets the identified problem areas, we can help you reach your fitness goals.

We will track your progress and keep you motivated and move forward to your goals.
