Fitness was never a part of Annie’s life until her last year in university. Growing up in Hong Kong and Vancouver, she spent most of her days seated, practising various musical instruments or doing her homework. The catalyst for her lifestyle change was constant fatigue at a young age and vanity. Her interest in health and fitness developed into a graduate degree and a full-time career 10 years ago.
Annie believes in meeting the clients where they are and working together as a team to reach their goals. While she is supportive, she also holds her clients accountable and pushes them accordingly. Her approach is to build confidence in moving one’s body and then finding enjoyment in exercise.
Her job satisfaction comes from her clients learning more about themselves – gaining confidence, experiencing easier daily lives, and applying what they have learned at the gym to their choices outside of the gym.
